Fees & Rebates
At The Social Space Psychology Clinic, our fees are set in line with the APS recommendations while keeping affordability and accessibility in mind.
Consultation Fees

✅ Rebates may also be available through private health funds (check your policy).
Group Program Fees
- Initial individual consultation to assess suitability (payable at consultation).
- Once accepted: a deposit is required to secure your place in the program
- Medicare rebates apply for group programs if specified on your Mental Health Care Plan.

REBATES
Medicare – Better Access Initiative
- Requires GP referral + Mental Health Care Plan (or psychiatrist/paediatrician referral).
- Up to 10 individual sessions per year (usually in blocks of 6 with a review).
- Up to 10 group sessions per year (in addition to individual sessions).
- Rebates paid directly to your bank account after each consultation.
- Medicare Safety Net may apply once out-of-pocket costs reach a threshold.

NDIS – Capacity Building
- Self-managed or plan-managed participants only (not NDIA managed).
- Programs such as PEERS® and SAS may be claimed under:
- Social & Community Participation
- Improved Relationships
- Improved Daily Living Skills
- A service agreement will be provided once you commit to a program.
