The Gaming Club at The Social Space Psychology Clinic in Mascot is a welcoming weekly social hub for children and teens who enjoy technology, gaming, and creative digital activities.

Guided by experienced IT mentors participants connect with like-minded peers through shared interests in a structured and supportive environment.

This club offers more than just screen time - it provides opportunities to engage, collaborate, and build confidence through shared digital experiences.

Why It Matters.

FFor many neurodivergent children and teens, traditional social settings can feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.

The Gaming Club uses shared interests as a starting point for connection, creating a relaxed and accessible environment where participants can engage with others in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.

By focusing on connection first, participants are supported to build confidence, explore social interaction, and feel a sense of belonging within a group of peers who share similar interests.

Participation Requirements.

  • Children and teens aged 8–16 years
  • Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or social challenges
  • Weekly attendance during school terms
  • Located at Mascot (Sydney) clinic
  • Interest in technology and collaboration

*No parent involvement is required, but you are welcome to stay and join in!

Duration: 10 weeks (School Term)

Format: Weekly 90-minute sessions

Activities: Minecraft, coding, and collaborative gaming
