Transitioning into the workforce can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially for neurodivergent individuals. This workshop, run by experienced psychologists in ASD, provides practical tools, strategies, and confidence to manage the leap from school or study into employment. Delivered in a supportive, strengths-based environment, participants explore workplace culture, develop job search and interview skills, practise self-advocacy, and learn strategies to thrive in professional environments—all while celebrating their unique strengths.

  • Understanding the Workforce: Exploring work environments, culture, strengths, and addressing fears
  • Job Search Skills: Writing neuro-affirming resumes, interview practice, and knowing workplace rights
  • Starting a Job: Adjusting to routines, managing sensory/social overload, and building support systems
  • Workplace Skills: Time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
  • Confidence & Resilience: Managing stress, advocating for needs, and celebrating achievements
  • Long-Term Success: Career development, work-life balance, and accessing ongoing support
